Asking $19,500 but willing to negotiate. One owner, 25,550 miles on the odometer. Factory warranty till October 25, 2007. Work done at a Ford Colision Repair Center in Captial Blvd. Right side fenders, door, hood, front bumper replaced and painted. Had CarMax appraised the car, they said the unibody is okay as ASC standards say the frame is not damaged, and the title is still clean, did a carfax check. Clutch is like new with 700 miles on it so far.

If it truly has a clean title it would be worth more than the 10k that baonest says.

What happened to it though?

I would think more than 20k, I know 03s have gone down in price, but I wouldnt think they are down that much. The big thing is the clean title.

^yeah, but it's also been in a major wreck. a clean title doesn't negate that.

it is. also another thread with a wreck explanation and how the tow truck damaged it further iirc.

No, the title is still clean, as per carfax reports, there is no salvage title because the car was not totaled. I believe in being up front to the buyers as they have the right know before making a decision to purchase. PM for questions.

how much was the total repair bill..

run a recent car fax. regardless of how bad the accident was, its suppose to show on the carfax as something.

i just dont see this as a clean title.

^ exactly. I used to sell cars and people would try to trade in their cars saying it had never been in an accident or had any repairs and carfax would show up clean. But when we looked at it we could tell that repairs had been made and portions of the car had been repainted. It was always great to see the look on their faces when we told them we knew it had been wrecked.

^^yup, i feel you there. i save my uncle couple hundred dollars on a car thats was wrecked and repaired..

did the same for myself. the car i bought was already at a steal, but i wanted to be a snob about it because the seller wasnt the most honest person out there.
