i paid $20 for it at Toys R Us on glenwood when they were going out of business. It was a good investment as far as I'm concerned (I have it hooked up to an LCD flat panel monitor). I don't know if I'd pay $50 for it though. 4/25/2007 3:42:34 PM |

^ its worth the dvd up conversion i think
the only thing i don't like is letterboxed widescreen dvds get mapped in a non widescreen format on crappy dvds and w/ vga you cannot zoom on my tv. 4/25/2007 4:23:55 PM |

^^depends on the LCD. It may take 1920 by 1080 and scale it to 1680 by 1050. On my gateway monitor it looks better than 1280 by 768. 4/26/2007 12:51:38 AM |

what's the deal with homebrew on this beast ?
is xbox-scene.com still the reliable info site? and is there 1 particular chip/mod (if it's not all softmod) that most people buy?
