87 js440 2 stroke stand-up ski.

would be a good starter ski or a present for yer lil sibling. a lot of fun, you can jump it and shit. fits on a back of a pickup truck, so no need for a trailer, takes 2 or 3 guys to get it in there.

no title. i got it about a year ago from rssutto2 and that fucker never sent me the title.

fixed it up since then, ski runs like a champ, was on the lake all last summer without any issues.

best offer over $300

i'm very interested

but i live in FL...i'm trying to sell my car right now...if i wind up with a pickup, and take leave in the next month or two up to NC (which is possible), we might do business.

This is tempting. Anything you'd want as a trade?

For whoever buys this, you should be able to get it registered and make it legal. Fill out the abandoned vessel form at http://www.ncwildlife.org/fs_index_01_license.htm and hopefully the title will come in as long as the current registered owner doesn't dispute it.

I think there are pretty heavy fines for being out of date on your registration and if you use it on any of the lakes around here it is only a matter of time before you get caught.

^good advise on getting a title. i actually have a contact info for the guy that has the old title but never got around to hollering at him.

on the other hand, this thing is like a water moped. i been out on the lake on the weekends ALL summer and didnt have any issues with it being unregistered. it has MD tags on it, they cant really run a check on it so they dont even bother.

Don't be so ungrateful. I drove to his house from fucking Wilmington to try to get you that title. After that, I gave up and sent you the contact info. He has moved from the area, but I'm pretty sure I still have the bill of sale where I bought it from him, so whoever buys can just fill out a lost title form.

^well, you concealed the fact the you didnt have the title at the point of purchase. then you might or might not have tried to get it, but i had to keep PMing you for over half a year until you finally let me know what the deal was. That counts as a sour transaction in my book.

[Edited on April 26, 2007 at 3:27 PM. Reason : i rode the fuckin thing anyway but deff do not take sellers word for shit anymore]

I've been told NC is one of the easier states to deal with the lack of registration on a boat/PWC, but I've never dealt with it myself.

I had a friend in VA who bought a ski in a similar situation and couldn't get it registered to save his life.

it is. much easier than vehicle titles. you can register one without a title in fact, or you used to be able to. wildlife/coast guard will nail your ass for no registration though.

you just need a bill of sale form completed by the buyer and seller and notarized, the form is available on the Wildlife and Fisheries website.

nah i didnt care about test run. in fact i told dustm who was also interested he could have it for a couple days and take it to the lake and see if he likes it. but i was gonna let big blu have it unless someone else offered at least 400, and that's what SteveO did
