I haven't gotten a raise in years... The biggest one I've gotten that I can recall off the top of my head was 12%.

Got a measly 4%. Supposedly, my starting salary was in the 90% percentile of my pay grade, so my employer hasn't been all that generous.

Since I have a Fed job, I had to answer some knowledge, skills, and abilities questions in order to get the increase. I basically reapplied for the job I am doing now but for a higher grade and got it.

I gave myself a raise (self employed). $1 more per hour.

My husband is also getting a raise starting next week, but he won't know how much it is until it goes into effect.

my boss let out a very shocked "oh" when he found out how much I made. According to my job description and average salary, I'm making somewhere in the range of the bottom 2%.

I'm gathering my resources and research to make a very strong case for a 20-30% raise in June - and that's just to bring me in line with 25-50% of what my skills, experience and responsiblities 'say' I should be making.

<3 that the merger happened, hate that salary reviews weren't a part of that process. BRING ON JUNE!

^^very nice presentation.....however, we can only offer you a 10% raise, but in 6 months we might be able to offer more! Your such a great employee and we will try to do everything we can to make sure you are happy

^ that's what most companies will do, but i've got other offers if this one turns out to be like that. all signs point to them putting their money where their mouth is (literally).

all good - happy for your raise though

I got told I'm getting another raise soon, but I don't expect anything to come of it until July. This has been a good year for me as it is.

i got a 3.5 % raise for finishing training, which was nice (though really it was just a holdoff of 3.5% from my offer until i finished).

apparently, i was at 112% corporate salary for my experience and degrees prior to the bump

"but we expect at least 160% production.

"

however, in july, my 18 months as a co-op will kick in for full service time, so next years will be nice, and will be fully eligable for the annual bonus too, as opposed to a 6 month proration this year.

not much of a percentage at all, but it was mid-year and unexpected

should get a good sized one in december

^ yeah that's the bad thing about negotiating a big bump up front

harder to get a raise afterwards and higher expectations - I'm in same boat.

^^^ 160%? wtf man, corporate America...

I got a $1,400 (before gay taxes) bonus after 9 months w/ DuPont, then quit 2 weeks later to move back to NC. Love it back here though, but man, I had it made w/ DuPont.

^haha you think that's bad...

try having your annual bonus being a minimum of 15% of your income.
