I don't need any specifics, but are his test questions pretty general (broad) or are they really specific? Should I know more definitions or how to apply them?

His tests suck. You better know everything in the chapters and how to apply it if you want to do well.

his tests are manageable but you will need to know more than just definitions. some of the questions can get specific and somewhat tricky. just read the questions carefully and you should do ok.

Application questions. Real tricky, but he gives a pretty generous curve. Definitely a teacher you take not for the grade, but for the teacher, cuz he's really good teacher imo.

man...i took it last summer session on dvd...the class was 2 sets of essays and a final. Do very well on the essays...

I read the entire book..memorized all the key works...and watched all the dvd's...and still did bad on the final. The final sucks ass.
