I haven't played around with a video camera for years now and now that HD media is becoming more main stream, I wanted to see what is available as an entry level/high end pro-sumer video camera device. I was browsing around BH photo video's site and saw a quite array of $1000ish cameras with some nice features. I know video is far different than still cameras and I hardly know a lot when it comes to video, but I'm a fast learner.
I might be doing some video recording at work such as presentation dvd's, product instruction video's, recording meetings or lectures when consultants come in. I know HD would be overkill for their needs, but since entry level HD cameras aren't that expensive, might be worth it to get one and be able to show/read items on a screen or chalk board in full detail. Plus having HD would ensure that it would last some time as a capital expense.
Also got this link from another thread that's been quite helpful. http://www.camcorderinfo.com/ratings.php
Any more links about Camcorders or tutorials would be nice. Also I've been out of the editing video loop so what are some good editing programs out there. I used to use premier but haven't used it in years and what people tell me, it's a bit antiquated now. 6/6/2007 2:57:59 AM |
