The FACTRON Re-Nano is an $820 iPod Nano case made out of titanium. Designer Kiwami Studio says they use precision tooling similar to that used to build satellites and Formula One cars. Which is exactly the type of over the top craftsmanship I need to protect my $149 iPod Nano. Seriously, this is like buying a Rolls Royce to protect your Hyundai. 6/7/2007 10:25:46 AM |

Ummmm, there are no metaphors in gunzz's post. There is a simile. Get your rhetorical tropes right, fool.6/7/2007 11:42:33 AM |

i never understood people who buy shit like that.
and that's nothing.
there are million dollar laptops, cellphones, cellphone cases, etc out there. studded with diamonds and shit.
it is not the established older generation super rich who buy such things, but the younger nouveau rich, who might only have a few million, or a few tens of millions, but they throw down indecent amounts of money on cars, electronics, and useless luxury electronics that i mentioned. 6/7/2007 10:42:26 PM |

if you had money to waste on a $820 case, you have enough money to buy then and use like consumable goods. Once they run out of battery, just buy a new one and give the old ones to me. 6/7/2007 10:46:10 PM |

you guys have got it all wrong, those are the ipod cases the pentagon buys. DUH. 6/7/2007 11:50:15 PM |

Plz, the pentagon has their own version of the ipod thats the size of a rice grain, wireless, holds 200gb, links with satellites amd can be placed in an anal cavity all with holding a charge for 400 hours... Besides, if your talking about government spending, they'd say they bought something like that for 5,000 and end up buying a case made out of paper... That's government accounting for yah 6/8/2007 1:34:38 AM |

I thought the whole point of the nano was to be small and lightweight. 6/11/2007 3:09:59 PM |

I'm sure that case is light as shit, but the size does suck 6/11/2007 6:09:06 PM |

Lighter than the 1.41 ounces of the Nano?
Still doesn't change the fact that it makes the Nano look like a metallic doggy bone that you couldn't carry in a shirt pocket anymore. 6/12/2007 10:56:03 AM |
