trying to setup a form for ordering supplies. Depending on who is ordering they may type an item number as "123-45" or "12345". I want Filemaker to recognize either of these as "12345". In other words to disregard the hyphen or (if possible) any characters other than numbers or letters
Checked google and other forums but I'm not sure I know the right keywords to search for.
Any help would be awesome. 6/7/2007 2:00:37 PM |

Use the regular expression plugin and run it through this -
s/(\d[3])\-?(\d[2])/$1$2/g
