I searched for Dead or alive and DOA... nothing came up.
I went to it expecting some cheezy action movie with 1 liners and to be mildly entertained.
NO one liners. Not one. Acting wasn't bad. No overplayed parts. Moves were a bit over the top but it's made after a video game with Dead or Alive as the title.
Of all the video game ports to movie... this is by far the best I've seen! Well worth the time spent. 6/15/2007 11:59:57 PM |

So is this the fighting game one or the zombie one? I'm a fan of the fighting game and didn't know they made a movie out of it...
Although this makes me kind iffy, kinda like the first Mortal Kombat, which actually wasn't that bad if I remember:
Quote : | "In a Hong Kong hotel, Christie (Holly Valance) is being investigated by a number of policemen after a theft of diamonds. Only in a towel, she manages to disarm and defeat all of them, and then leaves the building, driving off on a motorcycle. All the while she is observed by Maximillian Marsh (Matthew Marsden). While driving she receives her own shuriken.

This sounds like an awesome movie lawlz

Not only did it not make the top ten, it ended up in 17th place behind a Hindi film, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, which opened in only 83 theaters. " |
