So I just picked this up a couple weeks ago, *cheers El Nachó, and everything seems fine except when it upconverts to 1080i. The way it's setup, the throw distance allows for about a 60" diagonal on 480p. With 1080i upconvert or w/e it fills the entire 76" screen. Though looking at the reviews and such everyone always suggested and raved about a 90" or so picture *shrug*.


Anyway, enough rambling...1080i ESPN HD broadcasts are always cropped. Think about the information frames...scores, positions, other game progressions. It's also noticeable on some HD movies where the tops of heads are cut and sometimes the station logo in the lower right. I can't figure out why nor really explain it any better than i've attempted to.

i've tried google and can't get the right phrase i guess, because i never find anything that helps.

Suggestions?
