I work for a civil engineering firm and am having an issue with one particular drawing. My co worker can use this drawing fine. When I go to the layer manager screen nothing shows up preventing me from being able to modify or view these layers. Does anyone by chance know the cause of this. Seems like some bug but have tried reinstalling cad with no success. Hopefully there is a way to fix this and make my life a whole lot easier. I have attached a screenshot of the layer manager window for you to see the issue i am having in my gallery. 6/19/2007 10:08:29 AM |

thats the only thing i can think of. most the problems ive ever had in autocad or solid works etc. have been caused by version differences 6/19/2007 10:20:45 AM |

i can't see the picture very well but it doesn't look like a filter problem it def looks like something in the program messing up. 6/19/2007 10:22:04 AM |

i look on some cad discussion boards and some others are having the problem as well. One said it was a video card issue but that seems like that would not really be the issue. Thanks for your help as well. 6/19/2007 10:37:49 AM |

video cards are always the first suspect with autodesk products. they can cause all kinds of weird things that don't seem like they should be video related. check to make sure you have a certified, up to date driver.
What happens if you use the layer properties toolbar instead of Layer Manager. Do you have express tools loaded?

Seems there's an issue with trying to show LMAN on the second monitor. 6/19/2007 11:27:35 AM |
