^^^^seriously, and it be alot more useful. i can't imagine that compressor is good for anything but airing tires up, and slowly.

i remember reading that the air compressor on that shit it really pretty crazy. i assumed it was garbage as well until ppl said it destroyed all the standalone systems (via-air?, arb pump etc) other than maybe a converted york comp/ co2 tank. i guess the really toss up is between what you need and the 1k+ price of this

heaven forbid i have a winch bad enough that i can take it off one truck and mount it on the next, instead of pouring time and effort into a cheap ass solution. then again i wheel "those expensive trucks"

^I don't think anyone is saying it isn't a good winch, and if you want to spend the money, go ahead.

They are just making the argument that for the majority of people (read:cost conscious and single vehicle in need of a winch) there are better alternatives.

As for the discussion about the air flow restrictions because of its size, dicuss more because I need to know how my 8274 is going to effect that.
