DDR2 533 (PC2-4200) SODIMM.

PC2 means it really has 2 PC's, so its like 2 computers.

HYNIX Korea 08 512MB PC2-4200 DDR2 200-pin SO-DIMM RAM
533 MHz / PC2 4200
Timings 4-4-4-12
Possibly from a Dell E1505 laptop or Toshiba Satellite/Tecra laptop.

DDR2 is the standard name, PC2-4200 means theoretical bandwidth is 4.2GBps, PC2 more specifically just means the frequency is dual pumped 266mhz = 533mhz (DDR = Double Dynamic Rate (2x)

It's Laptop RAM ... If you're looking to purchase more or replace it, looks like ebay has a few up for bid.

Oh, and honestly, isn't it easier to type "pc2-4200s" into google than take a picture and post it here?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208323

i want one stick of RAM, not 2 x 1GB

honestly if you know your OEM model number like Dell E1505, you can always check http://www.crucial.com/ and see what type of memory they suggest, then find a good deal elsewhere on that type of ram.

from crucial's website it says that for an E1505, it only supports 1GB per slot and that it IS in fact dual channel meaning you'll get the best performance from 2x modules instead of 1x

best to look for a matched pair of PC2-5300

Best deal, save $30 and it's dual channel and numerous people have stated it's compatibile in Dell's
