anybody seen one of these up close and personal?
I'm wondering about the WUXGA screen (1920x1200) on them, and can't find any reviews since they're so new.
We have a Precision M90 at work with the 17" LCD, but it's not coated and looks a bit crap. Otherwise the M90 is rock-solid, and I'd prefer to have something like it (though not as large) instead of the crap Thinkpad t60s we've been getting at work. 7/15/2007 11:47:17 AM |

I've been leaning towards the m1330 since I'm a commuter and my 15.4 is just too unwieldy on a train. It looks like a pretty sexy machine 7/15/2007 11:51:26 AM |

get an XPS or high end inspiron. Same build quality, you can get the same screen, without the retarded Quadro card and save a thousand bucks or more.
Also check out Sony's laptops, they are pretty damn awesome now and in the same price range as dell with upper end units. 7/15/2007 11:51:52 AM |

^ the m4300s are on sale for like $800 less than what they're normally priced, so right now quadro or no quadro, doesn't really matter to me, as i'll just be photoshopping, illustrating, and occaisonally premiering & encoring it up in this biotch
i failed to mention that this is going to be my work laptop, not personal.
plus I dont think any clients would be impressed by me using an XPS (unless it were Dell ) 7/15/2007 5:28:25 PM |
