Other places on Hillsborough that deliver include Jimmy John's, Jade Garden (down past IHOP), Marco's Pizza, and of course Papa John's. 7/16/2007 9:57:19 PM |

When I was at State, I liked Golden Dragon way more than Shanghai Express. How is Golden Dragon doing these days? 7/16/2007 9:59:41 PM |

get a job that at least offers you a 15 min break...
if you have time to post on TWW about it you at least have time to order takeout from somewhere in cameron village and go and pick it up
unless you are just that lazy 7/17/2007 2:52:38 AM |

Am I the only one that thought Sakura Express was awesome? Chicken Teryaki was on time....the building looked a little sketch, but it was so damn good. 7/18/2007 12:00:28 PM |

dunno when you last ate there, but sakura express has gotten worse and worse and worse over the years
it is a pale shadow of where it was 4-5 years ago
the teryaki chicken is barley recognizable anymore and it makes me a sad panda
i blame the management shift...pretty much started going down the hill after the "sakura sisters" and their uncle sold the joint 7/18/2007 12:03:53 PM |

what place are you guys talking about ^ and ^^...Sakura express (by UT) or shanghai express (on Hills St. )....both opened my jr/sr. year and I haven't been back since. Are they both bad now? not that I like Shanghai express that much. And whatever happened to that chinese place that opened at Mission Valley around May '04...is that still open? I thought it was weird that they put pineapple in their fried rice or something crazy like that. 7/18/2007 6:07:59 PM |

I'm afraid I must agree with this assessment. I used to eat there all the time when I lived on Dixie Trail, but the last few many times I've been have given me little to no desire to go back.7/18/2007 6:45:50 PM |
