Whats it like? Pay? Travel? Benefits?

I am applying for a position at the headquarters, and I am wondering if anyone can give me any kind of heads up

When I grow up I want to be a principal or a caterpillar.

you should probably list the position if you want any sort of serious reply - the CEO gets paid slightly more than the janitor...

Is the HQ in Peoria? My dad worked at the plant for 30 years and retired at 48. He hasn't worked there for like 5 years though.

i work at cat in peoria in the headquarters building, pm me if you want

its true peoria isnt the most exciting place to live but you make the most of it and there are tons of young people here in rotational programs so if you have no friends its your own fault

First & foremost:

Make sure you're 10000% cool w/ leaving NC. That was my mistake. Now I'm back

I've heard nothing about CAT except it's just like every other corporation -- full of mundane work and pointless conf. calls.

Gregory Poole...that man wanted to do a controlled burn on his property in Franklin County.
He brought two D8s to install the firelines.
Makes our D5 look like a toy...

There was a hot blonde that used to live above me in my old apartments that worked there.. Haven't talked to her in a few years though.

I think she worked in Sanford..
