So using a digital camera all pictures I take seem to come out white and blurry - like looking through a ghost. Two recent examples are below. From these can you tell what's causing this type of distortion and what setting needs to be changed to eliminate the blur? Just as information I'm using a Kodak EasyShare C360.

water vapor on/under the lens? fingerprint on the lens? sensor gone bad?

maybe the white balance setting is off on your camera?
use some photo editing software to do an auto-contrast on those pictures, that removes a lot of the washed out white look

clean the lens. probably has TONS of dirt/grime on it. get some alcohol and a microfiber cloth and clean that sucker.
