^^ do we have to go over this again? Clinton fired all 93 federal judges when he first took office. Just like nearly all Presidents do when there is a change of party in the White House. .... just like Reagan did in 1981 W Bush did in 2001
Quote : | "Both McNulty and Sampson acknowledged that the Bush administration, like the Clinton administration, brought in a new slate of U.S. attorneys within a few months of taking office.
But historical data compiled by the Senate show the pattern going back to President Reagan.
Reagan replaced 89 of the 93 U.S. attorneys in his first two years in office. President Clinton had 89 new U.S. attorneys in his first two years, and President Bush had 88 new U.S. attorneys in his first two years." |

no, all the ones he fired were people that he hired himself a couple years earlier. They were all sworn in during 2001-2002 and began to get fired in 2006, then replaced indefinitely with no confirmation hearings, under the Patriot act. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dismissal_of_U.S._attorneys_controversy_timeline#2001_and_20028/2/2007 7:36:56 AM |

No - there is a provision in the Patriot Act that allows the President to create indefinite, "interim" appointees.
http://tinyurl.com/3b2ylw
Quote : | "The USA PATRIOT Act Improvement and Reauthorization Act of 2005, signed into law March 9, 2006, amended the law for the interim appointment of U.S. Attorneys by deleting two provisions: (a) the 120-day maximum term for the Attorney General's interim appointees, and (b) the subsequent interim appointment authority of Federal District Courts. (See Law references for the text to the statute (28 U.S.C. ยง 546), and its amendments.) With the revision, an interim appointee can potentially serve indefinitely (though still removable by the President), if the President declines to nominate a U.S. Attorney for a vacancy, or the Senate either fails to act on a Presidential nomination, or rejects a nominee that is different than the interim appointee." |

I've been debating on whether to let you in on this secret or not, but since I am losing interest in the place, I figure I'll let it ride.
I am indeed not the State409c/TypeA person you have accused me of. You made it a little to easy with the constant accusations to just check out what it was about that guy that bothered you so much. After reading some of his postings for awhile, it became entirely second nature to copy his style and aggravate you in the exact same way.
I know this won't convince you, but it really is as simple as that. I'm tired of the hate charade I've tried to keep up here for my entertainment purposes, especially since it is no longer entertaining. My theory that you are the most disliked poster in this section (something I learned when I came to this site and saw that people already disliked you after I read some of your posts and realized how dumb you are and how much trouble you caused) has been verified in recent days with the way you have picked fights with people previously neutral to your cause (erios, joshua, duke, terpball, etc).
Carry on! 8/2/2007 2:55:49 PM |

your particular trolling method under this particular alias is fairly humorous at first though...in the denial stage...denying that you are STate409c/TypeGay/BaldHate...even though everybody already knows...and then the quick thinking genius that you are, you claim you have been reading my posts for months...however you only registered yesterday...and you know all about the site and me and funny hey you make most of your posts in threads created by Bald Hate, what a big surprise...give up the joke loser...the whole board of TWW knows how pathetic you are based on your bitchy whining via fake inactive usernames] 8/2/2007 4:04:35 PM |
