Anyone using Outlook 2007 to send/receive Gmail? If so, and you also have two PST's (one for Gmail, the other for another (the default) account), explain to me how I can make Outlook store messages sent from the Gmail account in the Gmail PST (not the default PST, which in my case is for an Exchange server). The rules thing only seems to work on messages that are received, not outgoing mail...unless I'm missing something 8/6/2007 11:54:40 AM |

Tools :: Options :: Mail Setup (tab) :: Send/Receive (button)
Click your Gmail account, then "Edit" (button)
The bottom half of the window says "New mail will be delivered to the folder checked below", so check the .PST and sub-folder you wish the mail to be delivered to. 8/6/2007 1:19:00 PM |

it gs7's idea doesn't work, then set up a rule to copy every sent message into your gmail sent folder. thats what i do with my ncsu email using outlook 2003 so it should work fine for you. 8/6/2007 4:50:36 PM |

^ yeah G7 wasn't exactly clear on what I wanted, but that was...nevertheless I already had that rule setup and it just didn't work for the first message. now it works though. thanks 8/6/2007 6:02:25 PM |
