Who do you recommend in the Raleigh, Garner, Cary area that does good work. I am looking to get my first and am, needless to say, completely ignorant as to which places are quality and which are so so. Suggestions?

There's a place on Hillsborough St down near IHOP, I think it's called Phoenix tattoo. My roommate has had several things done there, very nice work. PM me if you want his info he knows the people very well.

Blue Flame for sure. I've had work done by Ray and my co-worker drives from Durham whenever she needs work done. It's the only place she'll go. Errol has done most of her work, but there's a new lady there that designed her most recent tat and did an AMAZING job.

A chick at Blue Flame drew my tattoo and inked me, she did a fabulous job. Granted it was something simple I was impressed with the place. Very clean, everyone there by my standards had impressive portfolios and all of the employees were friendly and helpful.

I have heard Warlocks does a good job too. However, I know multiple people that did not go back because the artist made inappropriate comments and gestures. That has nothing to do with the quality of work, but who wants to someone being a jackass while getting a tattoo?

i recommend warlocks

i only have one tat, but the people i asked said warlocks, and i'm pleased with the work. told my roommate to go there too and he's satisfied as well. The dude that did mine is an older man, can't remember his name, he runs the shop though. i wanna say darryl?

anyways, yea soon as i figure out my next tat i'll prolly go back there

^ not sure of anyone in Raleigh but I've heard Harry's is the best place to go for greywash, in Danville VA - hes expensive, and only takes appts. but hes good
