or dust/lent on the lens
seems sort of like an odd place for a crack. i mean, i guess its possible, but i would guess the stress riser is closer to the seam. 8/13/2007 10:56:13 PM |

I vote for dust on the lens. That part of the rollcage is slightly out of focus, a crack should be out of focus too, its not.

dust on the lens will NOT be sharp and defined like that. 8/17/2007 3:02:25 PM |

dude its not a mother fucking fake.
I SCANNED THE IMAGE AND ZOOMED THAT AREA STRAIGHT OUT OF THE MAGAZINE
it may be dust on the lens but being that it is on a smoothed and filled weld i would say its real
its just like trek did with their bikes sometimes making something pretty sacrifices its integrity 8/17/2007 3:21:10 PM |

That looks exactly like dust or debris on the mirror(35mm)/sensor(dslr). A crack won't be pure black like that. 8/17/2007 4:25:03 PM |

mirror? ha the mirror flips up and won't have ANYTHING like this show up.
Dirt on the sensor? it'd have to be some huge piece of garbage on the sensor to be noticeable at that shallow depth of field.
the damn paint is cracked, that's all it is.

who cares? really? i mean so what?
common sense should tell you it's probably dirt on the lens of the camera, that doesn't even look like a crack. and even if it WAS a crack, what's the point in pointing it out, there's probably a 1/1000000 chance all the cars would come with this crack and if it was a crack the manufacturer would replace the rollcage, so what's the point about talking about it? 8/18/2007 8:18:01 PM |
