Here we go again...
Wrestlingobserver.com reports that Brian Adams (Crush of Demolition/Kona Crush in WWF) was found dead by his wife this morning. He was in bed, not breathing, and no foul play is suspected.
I don't think this will change anything, unfortunately. Lashley or Cena would have to die on the spot for McMahon to do anything.

^^ Bryan Clark was Adam Bomb in WWF, and then was Brian Adams' tag team partner in WCW. 8/14/2007 7:26:13 AM |

Too many wrestlers dying. My biggest memory of crush is his fight against macho man at wrestlemania X in the pinfalls count anywhere match and macho man tied him up in the back and then he returned to the ring and crush was counted out. At least I think that’s what happened. 8/14/2007 9:55:47 AM |

Yep, I remember that too. Probably Savage's last great match in the WWE before he bolted down south to WCW. Good memories.8/14/2007 10:13:20 AM |

^i remember the Hart Foundation (Bret and Jim the Anvil) were facing Demolition in a tag match (Axe and Smash)...and Crush snuck out and hid under the ring...the refs were dumb so obviously they didnt know that Demolition was cheating with 3 tag team members...when it seems the Hart Foundation was done, the Road Warriors/LOD Animal and Hawk came out and exposed Crush and the Hart Foundation won 8/14/2007 10:17:50 AM |

ha! I had forgotten about that. Back when you could actually be counted out, haha.
I remember what led up to that match, that there was a big fall out between the two, crush shook his hand, was walking his towards the back stage, and then clotheslined the crap out of him8/14/2007 10:18:06 AM |

at this point, i'd be scared to let kids watch wrestling, not because of the on-air content, because i'd be scared that their heroes would die too early...
i was watching one of the wrestlemanias the other day, something like 40% of the participants are dead...8/15/2007 9:05:06 AM |

You gotta think that they push themselves and their bodies alot. Most of them back in the day did steroids and drugs alot. So that group is having health problems and dying young. Also look at alot of the superstarts like Big Vis who is like 500 or 600 pounds thats just not healthly and he will have tons of health problems as he gets older. 8/15/2007 9:18:57 AM |

It'll take an icon going to really draw attention. Like a Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Undertaker, etc. It seems like the ones going(except for Benoit) have mostly been has-beens or guys that have been wrestling on low-card circuits that no one keeps up with. 8/15/2007 9:40:37 AM |
