2 years ago my monitor started randomly going out. I could turn the monitor on, but nothing would come up on the screen. It wouldn't show no signal, it just was blank. Previously, this would happen for a couple of days and then it would come back. Recently it went out for good. I thought it was the monitor so I switched monitor but I'm having the same problem. What could be wrong and how do I fix it/ what new parts do I need?

Thanks!

Is there a way to check and see if the video card is bad before I buy another one?

Plugging in a monitor usually helps.
