haha, yeah i definitely didn't buy an Evo for the looks.

it's grown on me, and i now think it's a better than average looking car, and well above average for sedans (though certainly nowhere NEAR the best), but it definitely don't consider it a looker.

the interior is sorta cheap feeling/looking, too

and while it has THREE limited slip differentials (including a computer controlled center diff), a turbocharger and variable valve timing, a dial to aim the HID headlights up and down (to compensate for loads in the backseat and trunk), a factory Infinity subwoofer in the trunk, and $1300 worth of tires from the factory...

it doesn't have cruise control...and the air conditioning is definitely not up to $35k standards.


but it drives awesome--stellar handling and braking, and can easily/cheaply be modified to be blindingly fast. it also has a useable backseat and trunk.

yeah, i actually don't miss it that much, especially with the Valentine 1...i'm usually speeding anyway, and constantly adjusting my speed to account for traffic, conditions, potential speed traps, etc.
