I have 3 and 1/2 years of experience in the cycling industry. I believe everyone should ride bikes. I would do the service for free, but I have bills to pay like anyone else. For $25.00 one cannot go wrong.

Here is what My 10-point tune-up includes...

1) Bearing adjustment
2) Brake adjustment and inspection
3) Gear adjustment and inspection
4) Cable lubrication
5) Tire inflation
6) General Wheel Truing/Alignment
7) Frame cleaning
8) Chain Cleaning and Lubrication
9) Hub adjustments
10) Tightening of all bolts

*Additional parts are extra and I will sell them used if I have them. I also have access to new parts.

My goal is to provide the highest quality of service at the most competitive price in order to get as many customers to enjoy riding their bikes as soon as possible.

I will work on any type of bike.

considering the only original part of the bike left is the actual frame and the handle-bars, I doubt it.

It's got aftermarket wheels, forks, pedals, and all the gear shite. Just got in a wreck with her several years ago and no-one's been able to get the front gears quite right since. I think it just need a combination of tensioning and im sure a little bending of parts.

As for the tires, it may just be that im a big motherfucker, but i have to pump the damn things up every week to 5 days or they are unrideable.

are they losing pressure over the course of several rides or over the course of several unridden days? You could replace the tubes for about $8 or stick em in a bathtub to see if there's any bubbles.

triple chainring or double? triples can be tricky, especially if you're expecting it to turn some wacky gear combos (big to big or small to small).

no disrespect to the OP, but this stuff is worth learning to do on your own. Get a Park Tools manual.

^^it's a triple but I really want to change it out for a double, keeping my small climbing gear and getting a bigger big gear because im maxing out at like 40mph on downhills with a lot of power still to go.

Problem is in my current setup I can only either get it configured to run big-big to small-5/6. I cant go all the way to my lowest granny gear and to my highest downhill gear, which is really what i need, not so much in between.

They lose pressure either way. No clue what the hell the problem is, but its a fucking bitch getting the tires off and on to test the tubes, id much rather just pay someone.

How much for the tuneup plus replacement cables on a 24 speed mountain bike. I'd like to go ahead and replace the front and rear derailluer (SP?) cables + front and rear brake cables. It has sealed hubs and the tires/tubes are fine; so no real maintenance needed there which should save some time. It has V-Brakes btw.

What? You're maxing out your middle ring on the downhills, or your big ring? Because if you go double, you most certainly aren't going to be able to keep your current little ring AND get a bigger second ring than you current have on your triple and expect it to make the upshift. You could change out the cassette to get more ratio (or less if you want to be perfectly technical), but then you are affecting your little ring too.

Additionally, where are you riding that this is that much of an issue? Anything over ~30mph and you're just wasting your energy trying to push the speeds on the downhills. I guess if you want to try and see how fast you can go, thats one thing, but road rash isn't fun and I'd rather pilot my rig without disrupting the handling by pedaling while I am at 40+. I have seen first hand what happened to a fixie that was riding with us when he went down on Lystra because a teeny bump in the road was magnified by his pedaling.

I don't quite get what you are saying. What do you mean by big-big and small-5/6? Which combinations will it shift into?
