Duke does a good enough job as it stands. I like his casual and hands-off approach.

I don't know why people can't follow his rules.

If you seriously make a not-serious-enough-for-TSB-thread, it will be moved to the appropriate section.
If you make a parody, it will be deleted and you will be suspended.

How hard is that? Just make appropriate threads, and actually believe in what you post.

while I understand why the duke locked guth's parody thread I wish it had gone on, it was fun, and in a real sense a powerful argument against the boy's racist delusions. ...

But, the duke is in charge and I think everybody involved had to know what the consequences of their actions would be, it's not the first time or w/o warning.

20 years from now(if tww is still around) gunzz and Beardawg will probably still be here moding, the new ThePitts....anyways, getting more and more like statefans, best years of tww were the first 3, before all these mods and their agendas. Although, if you dont have a life outside tww, it is understandable having tww as your social life.

salisbury has been effectively contained to one thread per week. he cant even post a single comment in anyone else's threads.

now if you dont like his threads, then quit replying to them. its your own damn fault that they go to 20 pages and hang around for months.

guth, as much as I like him and understand his frustration, is the one shitting up the soap box with parody threads to the point that even the threads with meaningful discussion were getting crushed under the mess of all his parody crap. it was funny once or twice, but Got-damn, it ain't funny after 30 times.

Salisbury's one-thread-per-week does not fuck up the soap box. If you fools would quit "debating" with him, his threads would fall off the front page, and he would get bored of ranting to himself and leave. or else, he would break the rules that restrict him, and get himself suspended.

If you guys want to have a single thread devoted exclusively towards trashing salisburyboy, that's fine. that wasn't guth's purpose, though, and that wasn't how he executed it. furthermore, i don't really know what you'd want that--if you really give a damn about salisburyboy, just argue in his threads...just recognize that if you're arguing with him or posting in his threads, you largely lose your right to bitch about his ability to post, because you're keeping his threads at the top and giving him legitimacy.

and yeah, this is only about the 5th or maybe 10th time guth has done this, with the same response from me, and the same complaints and arguments from both sides.

if you don't like reading salisburyboy's posts, don't click on his threads. they're clearly labeled as his, even if you can't just tell by the title. if you want to argue with him, go for it--but then don't bitch about him.

oops, my bad, I only noticed the one thread was due to guth, I think I just assumed the rest were due to salisburyboy, they were pretty convincing. You know like good toy feces, some of it even smells bad.
