1 1GB microcruzer (it's usually plugged into the xbox 360. don't really use it though)
1 2GB microcruzer (keychain)
1 1GB travel drive (given to me. don't really use it)
4 1GB SD cards (camera, camera, wii, not used)
1 GB micro SD (not used)

is a 4gb for 30 bucks good? staples has one thats 80 with 50 instantly off

Yeah, that's a pretty decent price. Especially for a brick and mortar store.

Some dude said he has an 8 MB card for his camera... that's like 2-5 pics today

I remember paying $30 for a 64MB dell stick when I bought my computer fall '03, and being pissed that my friend had a 256MB stick for nearly the same price.

hah, these days flash is so cheap, I buy 8GB cards in bulk for my cameras, and when they're full, i just archive them and store in a fireproof/waterproof safe once they're downloaded.

The supplied cards with cameras were a joke even back then. My first digital camera (Canon Powershot A50, 1.3 MP) came with a 16 MB card. That was enough to hold like 20 pictures--less than a roll of film if you're going with that equivalency. On my current T2i, it would hold precisely two.

If we counted currently would you include SSD?
