Motorcycle just bought yesterday. Car pulled out in front of me when I was doing about 30. Only thing I could do was avoid the driver door and slide (ground was wet). Ended up getting jacked over the trunk, a couple rasberries and a bruised up hip was the damage. As well as a trashed faring.

Before any flamers come out, i have been riding for a while, by no means my first bike.

Person that pulled out in front of me was a huge, fat chick, with a handicap sticker, from New Hampshire.

Im so beyond pissed its not even funny. Of all the luck!

I guess on the positive side im in one piece.

i've decided........ next time someone pulls out in front of me im just going to t-bone them on my bike. therefore i get my bike fucking paid for instead of locking up my front and rear and laying it down. ill just do a fucking christ so i get launched.

Yeah i seriously had to restain myself from backhanding the bitch. I have not been that pissed off in a long time.

On top of that... im sitting in the ambulance getting bandaged up and her dumb fat ass comes up and says "Can you look at my elbow, its red, can it be broken?" Seriously, the dude in the ambulance told her to get the hell out.

My bike is fucking trashed, im bloody as hell, and her ass is complaining about a red elbow.

THe bike is in my garage, not sure if its totaled or not. Not sure if i wanted it to be totaled. I tend to believe it will be difficult to replace with one in that perfect of condition. (currently thats bothering me alot more than my pain)

just got full coverage setup on the bike this afternoon before the accident. already called the agent and hes doing everything he has to do to make sure it goes through, just in case fatass doesnt have insurance.

i'd take a check for it if the forks are bent. i'm of the opinion no bike frame that's had a hard lick to the front is ever the same, and actually becomes a potential danger at speed (wobble).

if it was just a stunt or around town bike no problem, but those bikes are for putting some miles on (which i assume you had/have plans to do).

if you want any advice or have any questions about the insurance side of things, etc. just let me know. i've been around that block.

^yea thats my worry, the front wheel doesnt seem to turn at all. I tend to think the forks are screwed. and yes i do plan to put alot of miles on the bike. im just going to wait and see what the adjuster says. if the forks are bent i would imagine they would total it anyway.

as far as insurance. does anyone know if they would just issue a check for the amount i took the loan amount for YESTERDAY? or would they go by the blue book? reason i ask is i did pay a little over blue book plus i added $800 for a two year warranty.
