Is it possible to stack 2 single din radios and have them fit in 1 double din slot? I have a DVD player that can mount in the dash but I want to put a regular single din aftermarket radio in there with it. Both units are single din aftermarkets.

If not I'll probably just put the DVD under the seat.

Yes, if it is a true double din (and not din + 1/2) or some other pseudo double din, then this will work just fine.

How do the trim pieces fit together? It seems like they'd interfere. Would you just leave them off, custom fit them, or do they both actually fit?

That depends on the units. They may have to be trimmed where they meet, or cut, epoxied, sanded, and painted before being put on.
