Because of their irritation to the skin, not the radio waves. And it's only a relatively small 1-2% chance of increase.

This is mostly meaningless, except for people who chip their pets.

i imagine there will be an uproar from people with pets around the world - the number of people that are chipped is very limited still

I think an increase of 1% risk of cancer is a fair price to pay for the benefits of RFID

if your pet gets lost and impounded by Animal Control, what are the chances it will be gassed? 98%? exactly

i didnt see where it says how long it takes for the cancer to show up

cats have a lifespan of about 12-15 years

my cat is already almost halfway through her life without an issues with her microchip

this article doesnt really make me concerned
