Try compatibility mode maybe if it's giving you trouble. Right click, choose properties, and there should be a compatibility tab. You should be able to figure it out from there.

ya, i had a problem trying to get the free iso download of command & conquer gold working on xp too.

even after enabling compatibility mode.

been too lazy to look at it since.
