You remember several months ago when some Triangle-area friends won a make-a-Doritos-commercial contest and it aired during the Superbowl? Well the same kind of thing is about to happen again--except this time, it's for the World Series.

Two N.C. State students--myself, and one of my roommates (Andrew)--have WON the preliminary rounds of judging by the MLB Actober.com sweepstakes panel. Perhaps you've seen ads for this sweepstakes on TBS and FOX? Now we're in the Top 5 videos for our contest week, where the judges have no more say--it's all up to fan voting now. Discalimer--I love thewolfweb so if any admins consider this "spam" than by all means get rid of this post-- but if we do win the national contest I think it would be a pretty cool thing for us and State.

By the way, actober.com allows you to, in the same browser session, vote up to 25 times... then you need to delete your cookies to repeat the voting process...does anyone know how i can automate this? i read in the technician that some wolfweb geniuses automated some voting in state's favor for espn.com and other sports polls...im sure if i could get something similar we would have no problem winning the whole thing (we only have two rounds left to go)
