I'm going to be spending about 9 days there and am looking to live it up. The Pop Montreal Festival is happening while I'm there, so I've got that angle covered. Any other suggestions? 9/18/2007 10:47:44 AM |

Damn i want to go to Quebec City...but Montreal should be a nice transition to travelling to a different country! Some speak french and some speak english and some speak both. Stay around McGill University. Its a good school and probably has a lot of stuff to do around there. 9/18/2007 9:40:00 PM |

I'm staying with some friends up there. I'm pretty excited, I've never been out of the US of A. 9/18/2007 11:11:10 PM |

The light show at the Notre Dame basilique was pretty cool when I went. I also liked the Biodome too if you are into that sort of thing. My family was only there for 2 full days so we didn't have much time to go off the beaten path (and convincing my parents to try new things was a headache, I swear they would have gone to Cracker Barrel if there was one there.)
I didn't have a hard time finding people that spoke English. People would greet me in French, then I would say "hi" and they would switch over to English. 9/19/2007 8:14:41 PM |
