Shit, telemarketers over in India make $50k a year on doing the same shit... And seriously, +$2 on a commission for selling insurance policies? Most companies I know who do commission sales on policies or on materials have a set commission price or do a percentage of the sale. You would probably get a better response if you offered a commission based job only, they work on their own time, and you give them a % cut of the policy profits (5-25% is normal).

Customer service and telemarketing call centers in India do in fact pay educated Indian's who are English speaking and are training in the American accent between 30-50k a year. "We" put them over there because it would cost almost 2-3x as much to afford the same labor size. Most of the cost savings is with facility operations, location and cheap energy. India is also full of well educated people who know English. Telecommunications in a 3rd world country is a lot cheaper to operate than in the states. Asia, as a whole, is rapidly becoming a center of strong economic powers in the world.
