westchase is the closest you're going to get. they charge $10 and when I left at 3 they still had plenty of parking.

Aren't there special buses from campus? Park anywhere on campus (weekends are great for this) and catch the special bus.

Try that big grass lot that so many students tailgate in. I'm not sure if it's absolutely the closest free area, but it works well.

Just walk from campus. The walk back after the big loss will give you a chance to blow off some steam, and you'll probably still beat your roommates home.

They don't start running until 90 minutes before the game and they only have room for about 30% of the people who want to use them. If you don't catch the very first bus, expect to miss the first quarter.

try the grassy area across teh street from the gas station and wendy's. it is free and is a 4 minute walk to the stadium.
