i try to be respectful of my roomates. I have a large bathroom (larger than my half of my freshman dorm) so i play in there quite a bit. all the mirrors keep the sound in the room. i also try not to play after 9 or 930 on weeknights (he's up until 2 usually anyway).

and, much to my dismay, i bought a new drum kit a few months back and have yet to play it. still sitting in my closet.

there's mirrors all the way to ceiling, almost all the way around. there's a washer dryer behind the wall on the one side that doesn't, works out pretty well.


my roomate is at least thankful, says he can hear everything if i play in the bedroom, but if his tv is on or some white noise in teh background he can barely hear anything if i'm in the bathroom.

someone in the building next door to my buddy's apt plays the bagpipes all the time out on the breezeway, its great.

Whenever I take my dog over there, and he's outside playing, she does that crooked-head look at me, then back up at him, then gets kinda wide-eyed. hahahhaha.

He's not bad, but I rarely recognize any of the songs. I'd imagine it'd get old after a while if your apt was say, right under or next door to that one though...
