Looks like Joost has gotten rid of the Invite-only status and has a new 1.0 Beta ...

I haven't looked at it in a long time ... but after this press release, I looked at it again. Joost has an almost an entirely new interface (much more professional) and a lot more content. Plus the ads are still non-intrusive and quick.

They actually still might be on to something. If only they could get lots more (and updated) content that people actually care about. Oh, and the quality still isn't great ...

... which is why I'll keep with the usual downloading of stuff for the near future.
