1. drive car on ramps 2. with drain pan/dish on ground, unscrew oil cap and let old oil drain into drain pan/dish 3. unscrew filter, put in drain pan/dish 4. dont get mad that you just spilled some oil on your arm from the filter 5. put new filter on 6. screw oil pan cap back on 7. open hood and add oil 8. test level with dipstick 9. drive to Wendy's and floss your new shit 10/3/2007 2:05:42 PM

A funnel is a buck
Ill avoid [derrogatory term for african-americans]-rigging it 10/3/2007 2:38:44 PM

funnel necessity definitely depends on:
- size of oil cap - shape/mouth of bottle of oil 10/3/2007 2:39:36 PM

I miss my 89 Camaro. It burned oil so fast that I would just add a quart every week and never change the oil.
Until I went three weeks without changing it and my engine locked up.
I was one of the last white guys to drive a 3rd generation Camaro before it was co-op'ed by mexicans. 10/3/2007 3:26:28 PM

It depends on the car I'm driving whether I do it myself or not.
If the filter is in a weird or hard to reach location, I just pay someone else to do it. 10/3/2007 3:39:40 PM

^You would hate my car. The filter is in a *terrible* location. I'd still rather do it myself though...I don't really trust the jokers at Jiffy Lube not to fuck something up. 10/3/2007 3:41:47 PM

depends on how big of a hurry I am. If I'm in a hurry, I pay the $20, otherwise I do it myself and put nice oil & filter on. 10/3/2007 4:10:59 PM

I usually just put synthetic oil in my car. Longer oil change interval FTW. I change my oil once a year on synthetic. 10/3/2007 11:02:51 PM
