I got an old 1987 F150. Runs just fine. I have had no problems with it at all. Its got 115000 miles on the truck. The body is fine with no signs of rust. By fine i mean you can tell it was used as a work truck. I just put tires on it. Looking to get $2000 for it. I can take pictures if there is any interest. This could be used as work truck but i wouldn't use it as an every day truck.
