for their numbers (400+ vs. our record high 230-some) they really aren't as powerful as they should be, plus they mic their sections, which is fucking lame.

But point taken, I wish we had something as powerful as the tomahawk chant too....

Also their gametime music consists entirely of the tomahawk chant and one or two other short songs, absolutely nothing besides that. They played the tomahawk chant alone at least 38 times last game, which I admit, is powerful and cool, for about the first 10 times or so, and then it's just fucking retarded.

as for us, what would you expect for a school that doesn't even have a music major for fucks sake, most of our band is engineers and people who did it in high school and want to support NCSU athletics;
it's not like NC State is very attractive to great musicians or hardcore marching band geeks
