friend of mine has 2 jobs and is taking 2-3 classes.... so far so good.
I, on the other hand, was going to take a class this semester but my work load at my ft job increased and I didnt feel comfortable doing so. 10/8/2007 7:22:00 PM

i worked two jobs [~30-35 hrs/week] and took 12-14 hours of [engineering] classes for the last 2 years of undergrad. it sucks, but its possible. your gpa will suffer horribly unless youre stupid smart and dont have to study...if youre taking some weak ass major then you'll be fine. 10/8/2007 7:29:35 PM

Possible but not suggested.
I worked FT and went to school FT - while it payed off in the long run, I almost lost my mind. I always had more play money than my friends though & went lots of fun places. 10/8/2007 7:31:41 PM

How many hours I week is relevant, not how many jobs you have.
I work 40-55 hours every week now, and I started the semester with 18 credit hours...now I'm down to twelve and things are working fine. 10/8/2007 10:12:59 PM

Both of mine are extremely conducive to getting homework done. One is one of the computer lab attendant positions.
Engineering, sociology, or biology - you have the same amt of time to work on homework. Plus, you're already in a unity lab with MatLab and all that jazz handy ![](images/beatup.gif)

I used to take six classes and work about 60 hrs/week.
I've cut that down to about 40 or so.
I try not to dwell on exactly how much work it is, make and keep a time schedule, and remind myself that it'll pay off when I'm out of school. 10/9/2007 12:04:22 AM

ok, well in the rare case where you can actually get paid to work on homework...then yes the actual job being worked matters.

It sounded like he's talking about a campus job
and a good many of those are warm-body jobs, which are often good for getting homework done.
