do they have the cajun food place with the "jamming cheese fries?" like they had at the dixie classic fair? they have the BEST bourbon chicken sandwich, for only $4 too

do you then have to buy tickets for the rides?

I've been here 6 years and have never been to the fair. Not a huge fan of em

It's more of an Ag fair - Cows, Pigs, Sheep
The rides are fine
The FOOD is the reason to go, and yes it does cost money

Go hungry
Fried Snickers, Elephant ears, and the other 300 food vendors make me smile. Yummm

Elephant ears are these big cinnamon dough things that are awesome, b/c they aren't too sweet.

i use to hate shit like that(helping people like that out), but when you do it puts shit into perspective on how lucky you are compared to others....the only thing i kinda messed up was when she asked me to put something in her bookbag and i guess like she mentally remembers exactly where she puts things...well about 15 minutes after putting her jacket in her bookbag she was looking for something and i noticed it took her forever to find it....it didnt dawn on me til later that the reason it took her so long was probably because i moved it around by shoving her coat in her bookbag

before i left she was like "can i have a hug" and it made me feel all gooey inside
