there are many homer-centric episodes, but only "go-to" episodes; i.e. when they are desperate for a plot

bart has the greatest number of relationships with all other characters, I think

when the show started, it revolved around bart. (evidence includes all of the 'eat my shorts' and 'don't have a cow man' posters from that era.)
it is now mainly a Homer Simpson show.
