what ya need to do is call customer service and ask for the "account services" (formerly known as retention) department. bitch a bit about being stuck with a phone with a terrible set of features and express your frustration that there are no reasonably priced upgrade options available for you, allude to the fact that you're thinking of leaving sprint altogether in favor of a company that will offer you a newer phone for free. The guys in account services earn their living by keeping disgruntled customers from leaving, they're always willing to offer you the world to keep you around, with no regard for the profitability of the account to the company.
