Ok, so I'm trying to sign up for courses for this minor I would like to get (zoology) and the ZO260 is for zoology majors only. How do I get into the class if tracks is blocking access? Do I need to fill out the minor form with the department? Online it says this only need to be done at least 2 weeks before my final semester; it doesn't state this needs to be done to actually take the courses. Emailing the professor doesn't help, because I ended up getting a formal letter from the department about the need to service their own first and the restriction would be lifted after the start of the semester. However I tried this last semester to get in and it was already full a month before the semester. With 3 semester left I don't have the time and room to be continually pushing courses back, because I take 17 hours every semester.

yeah just go to the head of the department or email them and they'll put you in the class. I had to do this with IE.

IF you physically go to the dept. office then they can add you right then and there.
