I really meant to drop this class, and really need to, but I realized this about 8 hours too late to drop it online.
What should I do and who can I talk to to make this happen?
I'm really in trouble if I keep on with it. Getting permission to drop this doesn't seem unreasonable to me since it's so soon after the official drop date. 10/21/2007 10:10:51 PM |

I'm sure Reg & Rec would know if you went to their office.

7.1. General
Dropping or adding courses may be done at any time that telephonic registration (TRACS) is operational. Students should be encouraged to make schedule changes as soon as they are aware that they need to be made. TRACS closes at the end of the two week drop/add period. Courses may be dropped after the two week drop/add period - but before the drop deadline as provided in the above described policies - in person at the Department of Registration and Records.
To add or drop a course after the deadline, a Schedule Revision Form with the student's dean's approval is needed." |

You my be able to speak with the professor or a dept. head/dean and explain your situation. If all else fails you can visit the counseling center and explain that you have taken on too much this semester.

^ Not necessary. Vix just has to play the go find 3 signatures from people on different corners of campus game. It's not a hard process, just a lot of leg work. 10/21/2007 10:56:01 PM |
