I'll be there in the OB.

I did my undergrad at NC State.

Grad school (MS '07) and sticking around for more grad school at UMiami.

Still rooting for the Wolfpack though. Or couse.

If you need any info on tailgating, let me know.

To be honest after my extreme excitement for NCSU at the ECU game, i think I will have to pull for state. I wasn't sure before, but I was so fucking ecstatic and happy after each NCSU score on saturday, much more excited than i have been all year for miami(maybe minus the texas A&M game). it was my first time seeing them live all year.

I will probably get torn a new asshole by my floormates and such, as I AM a UM student with no real NCSU affiliation, plus it is our homecoming game...

I would love to sit in a state section if anyone can figure out a way to make that happen =/
Fitch do you know how the getting into sections works? do i need to show my ticket? I've only done student entry so i have no idea how the other sections work. are you going student section? are you gonna be with any more state fans?

No, it's not that. I meant interesting more in regards to fan turnout and such things like that.

I am doing student entry. I paid my $50 grad student activation fee, so I'm using it.

I'll be with 4-5 other NCSU grads and a bunch of Miami fans/students. I may sit in the Miami student section. I'm not too worried about UM students. They are benign compared to the Miami "townie" fans and not as brutal as NCSU, UNC, UMD, or V-Tech students. Plus I am with Miami fans.

Another thing I may do is just remove my student wristband and just walk up to the visiting section. They rarely check.

I may park my car under the 836 overpass across the Miami River by NW 12th Ave. Visiting fans park there often and it has a decent tailgate feel. Parking is 7 bucks and is protected by security. But its sort of a hike (10-15 minutes). Otherwise I'll pony up the 20 bucks and park at the SunTrust on 12th Ave close by the OB.

Does anyone know if they serve beer at the game?

Yes they serve beer at the game. Its gonna cost you. $7 for 16 ounce plastic bottles. But a beer in Miami is like 5 bucks. I also sneak in pints of Jack Daniels. The OB is slack as hell about sneaking in booze. Its almost ridiculous.

You can get a 20+ ounce Presidente import beer for $8. Those are tasty and are most cost-effective in your alcoholic endeavors.

I thought alcohol was banned in ncaa sporting events? But then as I was typing this I remembered the bowl game in charlotte in which people could buy beer and get rippped.
