I want to go shopping in New York early December. What is the closes place to stay in New Jersey? Prices are way to high to stay in the city. Does anyone have any input??? 10/24/2007 11:52:25 PM |

expedia.com, hotels.com, priceline.com, etc are good places to look for a good deal, you can set your search options to go so far out from the city. you may even find a deal good enough to stay in NYC. 10/24/2007 11:58:49 PM |

might as well buck up and pay for a place in nyc. I'm sure you'll find a good deal somewhere. Besides lots of the places close to nyc in jersey are crappy... you go to around the northern tip of jersey...or take nj transit to nyc...but then you gotta carry all your shit back with you on the train or subway. 10/25/2007 12:09:11 AM |

Why would you go all the way to NYC just for shopping? Do you just have money burning a hole in your pocket? 10/25/2007 12:27:49 AM |

Stay in PA. There are a lot of rundown places in northern PA that should be cheap to stay at within an hour of the city.
Mom's grandmother use to live in Easton, PA. It's about an hour from NYC, but the whole city looks like the projects 10/25/2007 12:30:48 AM |
