Pretty much very week there is a discussion and a quiz. The quizzes aren't too bad. The discussions require a lot of reading, and half the time you are responding to discussions posted by your classmates on the same reading. I didn't like the format at all. 11/5/2007 12:38:32 PM |

imo i feel you should limit how many distance classes you take while at ncsu 11/5/2007 1:04:14 PM |

^ Ive taken 20 DE classes as of this semester and I have to say that they are a lot easier than on campus classes, at least from what I think. (Being a CSC major also allowed me to take a lot of classes through DE, and I did all of my humanities there too)
I'd take as many DE classes as possible.
On that note - some people need to drop ENG 331 sec 601 to let me in!! :-p 11/5/2007 1:09:23 PM |

I dont wanna live in Raleigh - I'd rather live at home instead of owning a home and renting a place for no reason. 11/5/2007 6:17:42 PM |

thats understandable i guess...i mean if i had to take mostly DE i would, but out of the 5 or 6 i've taken online, i woulda liked to take like 2 of them in class
i just think people see "online" and automatically think easy a or something....i'm not knocking DE as much as i'm knocking the motivations some people use to take them 11/5/2007 8:38:59 PM |
