^^no. implied consent ftw. also his wife was present. i kind of assumed she'd want him to be alive again as she was wailing on his chest doing CPR.. i mean like 100 compressions/min. shit probably saved his life.

also, for those of you that might ever have to do CPR on someone:
the compressions are what matter, compress their chest as fast as you can, as many times as you can. don't worry about the "rescue breaths," they don't do shit.

the compressions are what keeps the blood circulating to their vital organs until we can get there and fix them.

you've got enough oxygen in your blood when you DFO to last you a good 15-20 minutes.

in contrast, if you stop chest compressions for more than a minute, there's almost a 100% chance that they won't be able to be resuscitated when we get there.

even 30 seconds cuts their chances more than in half.

think about it - 10 seconds to do a rescue breath = not good.
